Discord was the best a couple of years ago when I could put bots into unlimited amount of servers until now. Discord was the best when there were no servers requiring my phone number for verification. Discord was the best until they made its system trigger my screen to have a pop-up message requiring phone number information or I'll have locked account. Discord was the best until it got greedy and removed global emotes. Discord was the best until its Terms and Agreement were enabling snowflakes, feminazis, radical left-leaning political views, liberal echo chambers, woketivism, and not letting people use the German Nazi symbol or words like n i g g e r and other things for artistic purposes and politically incorrect humour. Discord has become an Orwellian nightmare with radicalised censorship that goes against artistic freedom, intellectualism, individualism, etc. Authorities from the Discord company have the right to delete your server without your consent to promote Discord's radicalised censorship to benefit closed-minded echo chambers. Discord doesn't let you use cryptocurrency to buy Nitro, which is a privacy nightmare. The customer support service for Discord is a joke because Discord is another cut-throat company, with unhelpful robots speaking in unprofessional language, that cares about money more than helping customers with real humans.

Way better than skype or teamspeak, very few downpoints, and regular updates and improvements. Close to their community.

Good but kinda greedy, why in the hell do you have to pay 10$ a month just to show your friends videos you have made yourself? Or have a gif profile pic, since most of the times only anime-obsessed perverted simps use? OR EVEN USE THE SERVERS EMOJIS OR WHATEVER IT'S CALLED???? Atleast it's free to call, chat and make servers. Not EA level but still a bit greedy.

honestly i love them. In their updates messeages they write stuff like: By the way, add sour cream to any boxed cake mix to make it richer and trick people into thinking you know how to bake. Im not kidding! They are brilliant!

Discord is NOT the place for you.

There is no actual policing in Discord servers. Spam is rampant. $#*!posting is common. Sexism, racism, hatred of any kind? As long as the moderators like it, you're subject to it.

I was banned for triggering someone. Were they decent enough to tell me their problem? Of course not. If the moderators don't want explanations--and I've seen over a dozen where the mods don't 'put up with' explanations, or even understand what an explanation is (I got a warning for defining what I meant by the word 'weird')--too bad. You're kicked out because you didn't know you needed to walk on eggshells.

Oh, is a moderator obviously siding with one person or a group of a certain race or orientation and they think it's okay to discriminate against everyone who isn't that group? If you're surprised, you haven't been on Discord servers.

Let's say you're banned for a stupid reason. An abusive reason. The moderator told you that you broke their rules when you did not or they made rules that were one-sided or didn't even bother to mention rules--this happens often. Surely you can report this and get justice right?

Hahahaha. NO. If you ever figure out Discord's complicated way of submitting a report, all you'll get is the admins telling you to block that person and problems will be solved. Yes, block the moderator who banned you and your problems will go away. It would be less stressful to hire a hacker and put up with the charges filed against you. At least you would know someone who actually does intend to dole out real justice now.

It's a really good service for my kids to chat to their cousins .

Can be very annoying and time consuming with all those pings.
Recent changes made it more confusing to manage permissions for chats but it's ok I guess.

I've been using Discord since the end of 2017 now and I really love that platform for gaming, studying or chilling with friends or anyone else!
Discord has evolved in such a very great way, it is so simple to use!
